② If the total value of the goods to be exchanged or refunded exceeds the duty-free allowance under the Korean Customs Act (please refer to the Shopping Guide on our website), you may request an exchange or refund directly from overseas via international mail, or after reporting the goods to Customs and placing them under customs hold upon entering Korea.

② If the total value of the goods to be exchanged or refunded exceeds the duty-free allowance under the Korean Customs Act (please refer to the Shopping Guide on our website), you may apply for an exchange or refund directly from overseas via international mail, or you may exchange or refund the goods after completing a voluntary customs declaration and payment of duties, or after completing a voluntary customs declaration and customs hold procedures upon entering Korea.

 Article 16 (Withdrawal)
④ If the total value of the goods to be exchanged or refunded exceeds the duty-free allowance, an exchange or refund may only be processed after the goods have been sent from overseas via international mail and placed under customs hold (the waybill must indicate "Duty Free Exchange/Refund"), or after the goods have been reported to Customs and placed under customs hold upon entering Korea. Exchanged duty-free goods must be be collected at the designated airport pick-up counter upon departure.
